Alliage de zirconium - niobium
Niobium-zirconium alloy is a binary alloy composed of zirconium-based element niobium, and its basic composition is Zr-1%Nb and Zr-2.5Nb%.
Niobium-zirconium alloy has good corrosion resistance to acid, alkali and salt.
Niobium-zirconium alloys have good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties against high temperature and high pressure water and steam at 300-400 °C.
The most prominent feature of niobium-zirconium alloy is that it can grow a new protective oxide film at the peeled oxide film, and there is no obvious corrosion turning point.
The tensile strength is 84MPa, the yield strength is 78MPa, and the elongation is 15%.
It is produced by consumable electrode smelting process.
Niobium-zirconium alloys are used as cladding materials for heavy water reactors, nuclear power plants and submarine reactors.
The preparation of niobium-zirconium alloy ingots mainly adopts electron beam melting and vacuum arc melting. Then extrusion and forging are carried out at a temperature of 1000-1200 ° C, and rolling and drawing are carried out at room temperature, and can be prepared into products such as pipes, wires, and plates. The welding, heat treatment, and coating of niobium-zirconium alloys are similar to those of niobium alloys.
Niobium-zirconium alloys are mainly used in the nuclear fuel jackets of fast neutron reactors and space nuclear reactors, the electrodes of high-pressure sodium lamps in the electric light source industry, and the manufacture of missile parts.
